      A short car transfer of fifteen minutes north of The Lombok Lodge Boutique Hotel will bring you to the area of our new Private Villa Estate, where local farmers invite you to view their traditional farming practices

      Discover a quieter side of Lombok on an intimate morning journey through the beautiful village of Kakong, accompanied by Didin, who was born and raised here.

      A short 15–20 minute private drive takes you to the beautiful village of Kakong, where your morning experience begins.

      As the village slowly awakens, wander through a lush tropical landscape of cacao, cloves, peanuts, durian, mangosteen, avocado, coffeee plants and numerous varieties of banana. Along the way, Didin shares stories of village life and introduces you to the fruits, plants and traditions that have shaped this fertile corner of Lombok for generations.

      A gentle 30–45 minute walk and soft hike leads you through beautiful countryside and paddy views towards Mata Air Kakong, a secluded natural spring and waterfall surrounded by tropical greenery. Here, hidden in nature, a freshly prepared Jungle Breakfast awaits – the perfect reward after your morning walk.

      THE NORTH LOMBOK HIGHLIGHT | THE SENDANG GILE WATERFALLS

      A Light Trekking Tour not to be missed while visiting Lombok.

       

      Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfalls are two incredible waterfalls in the north of Lombok. The waterfalls are located in the town of Senaru, which is the starting point for trekking to Mount Rinjani.

       

      Sendang Gile, the first waterfall, is a place where the water comes straight off one of the highest peaks in Southeast Asia. The water is considered to be some of the cleanest and freshest water in Indonesia.

       

      After you finish up adventuring at Sendang Gile waterfall it’s time to get back on the path and continue heading towards the big attraction of the day. The trail leads you along the side of the river before it requires you to make a few crossings. Finally, you may have to actually walk through the river in cold, ankle-deep water.

       

      After a soft trek for approximately 30-40 minutes, you will find the second Waterfall, the Tiu Kelep Waterfall. Here you can rest and swim in the cool water pool formed by the Waterfalls.Tiu Kelep Waterfall – the one posted online all the time – is an epic amphitheater with one of the most dramatic falls you will see in Indonesia.
