The Art of Living in Balance – Feng Shui by the Sea
When my husband Ben and I began designing our brand new Private Villa Estate in 2020, I knew from the very beginning that it had to be more than just another collection of luxury villas. It had to feel right. It had to breathe. It had to carry that quiet, grounding energy that makes you instantly exhale the moment you arrive.
That’s how the idea of embracing Feng Shui came to life – the ancient philosophy of harmony between Wind and Water. It perfectly reflects the essence of Lombok itself: soft ocean breezes, flowing energy, and the rhythm of nature that moves at its own serene pace.
Each of our Luxury Beach Villas, nestled among coconut groves and rice fields, has been thoughtfully designed by award-winning architect Vittorio Simoni to embody that balance. The mountains behind us provide strength and protection, while the water in front symbolizes flow, wealth, and abundance — a natural Feng Shui blessing.
PERFECTION IS IN THE DETAILS
I’ve always loved how the little details make the biggest difference. The way morning light filters through the full-height windows, the freshness of open-air spaces, the calm that comes from decluttered interiors and natural wood accents. Even the bed placement – avoiding direct wind – follows traditional Feng Shui wisdom to support rest and wellbeing.
And of course, there’s the private infinity pool: twenty metres of pure serenity overlooking the ocean. I often find myself pausing there in the late afternoon, just watching the sky turn gold. It’s in those moments that the balance of this place feels almost tangible.
We didn’t design these villas just to impress; we designed them to nourish. To create a space where energy moves freely, where simplicity replaces excess, and where nature itself becomes part of your daily rhythm.
