Did you know that at The Lombok Lodge Boutique Hotel, Medana Bay, we use Bahasa Indonesia for the names of our lodges? Did you know that at Lombok Private Villa Estate, Gondang Beach, our villas are named using the authentic Lombok Sasak language?
Counting in Indonesian is quite straightforward; once you know the first ten numbers, you can easily form higher numbers by combining them. For instance, when you reach 12, you simply add the word “belas” to the base number.
Numbers in Indonesian:
Zero — Nol / One — Satu / Two — Dua / Three — Tiga / Four — Empat / Five — Lima … and so on.
Once you get to 12, the pattern is just as simple:
Eleven — Sebelas / Twelve — Dua Belas / Thirteen — Tiga belas / Fourteen — Empat belas / Fifteen — Lima Belas … and so on.
