Across Bali and Lombok, a simple handwoven bracelet has long carried meaning. In Bali, it is known as the tridatu; a sacred bracelet tied with prayer, symbolising balance and protection. In northern Lombok, particularly in Bayan area, handwoven threads have long been part of local Sasak culture – made by local hands, given without ceremony, yet always with intention.

The Lombok Bracelet – one of the gifts upon your arrival here with us at The Lombok Lodge Hospitality® – belongs here. It is inspired by these Lombok & Bali traditions, yet thoughtfully reimagined in a way that is true to TLL Hospitality®; Respectful, Local, and quietly Personal. Each piece is made by artisans in nearby villages as part of our sustainability program, commitment to support the local community and keep these crafts alive. These are not religious objects, but expressions of care. Woven from natural Lombok Island threads and inspired by Lombok symbols such as shells and turtles, using techniques passed down through generations. The colours reflect our beautiful island itself: coconut-white, ocean blue, volcanic earth, and the soft green of young rice fields.

It is small enough to forget you are wearing it. That is part of the point. When you arrive, we do not place it in your hand. We tie it gently on your wrist. A simple gesture, inspired by tradition, but grounded in Lombok’s warmth.
