The Lombok Lodge Hospitality Welcome Bracelet

Across Bali and Lombok, a simple handwoven bracelet has long carried meaning. In Bali, it is known as the tridatu – a sacred bracelet tied with prayer, symbolising balance and protection. In northern Lombok, particularly in the Bayan area, handwoven threads have long been part of local Sasak culture – made by local hands and given with intention.

TLLH Welcome Bracelet – one of our little gifts upon your arrival at The Lombok Lodge Hospitality® – is inspired by these island traditions, yet thoughtfully reimagined in a way that feels true to us: respectful, local and quietly personal.

Each bracelet is made by local artisans as part of our commitment to supporting the communities around us – an important part of our sustainability program – and helping preserve traditional craftsmanship.
These are not religious objects, but small expressions of care – woven from Lombok Island threads and inspired by the colours, places and character of our island.

Two Bracelets | Two Stories

To bring you into the rhythm of island life, upon arrival we invite you to choose between two different bracelets,
each with its own connection to Lombok.

The thicker bracelet represents Bayan, in the north of Lombok, and is inspired by the traditions and culture of the Sasak people.
The finer bracelet represents the Gili Islands, inspired by our beautiful little islands and the sea surrounding them.
